Iconic Art Card Changes

Hello Alpha Clash Community,

Many of you treasure the amazing alternate artworks of our Iconic Art cards. Many Clashers have requested time and time again for them to be legal for gameplay. Well, we have some exciting news for you!

Iconic Art cards will now be playable cards.  In order for players to use an Iconic Art card, they must have a copy of the non-Iconic Art Card version (with the same name) of that card on hand at all times to ensure the text is visible for all players.

You likely noticed that in ‘The Awakening’ and ‘Clashgrounds’ set releases, all Iconic Art cards were alternate versions of Iconic Rare/Epic rarity cards within the set. You also likely noticed that ‘Draft Box 01: Year of the Dragon’ introduced Iconic Art cards in the form of alternate art Common Contender cards. Moving forward, our Iconic Art cards will no longer be bound by simply being alternate versions of Epic/Iconic Rare like they once were. Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Epic rarity cards are now eligible to become an Iconic Rare and/or an Iconic Art.

Much of the Alpha Clash community cherishes Iconic Rare and Iconic Art cards, and we want you to be able to play with them as well. Though these are relatively small changes, we wanted to be forthcoming about the future plans for Iconic Rare and Iconic Art cards because of the community’s appreciation for them.

Get ready to pull those Iconic Art cards out of your binders and slap them down in the Clashground!
