Alpha Clash is a living game—one that evolves over time. To ensure a balanced, fun, and competitive environment, we occasionally issue card bans and errata (official card text updates). The goal is to have these happen as little as possible, but sometimes it’s necessary. Below you’ll find the current list of cards that are banned in Tiered events, as well as any cards with updated official text. These updates are effective immediately upon rulebook publication and apply to all sanctioned events.

✏️ Errata Cards
Earthly Barricade (AC1-069)
Updated Text: Counter - Attack: Choose target Clash card you control. Prevent the next two clash damage that would be dealt to it this turn, then your Contender gains two health.
Errata Note: Clarified that damage prevention only lasts for the current turn. Original text did not specify duration.
T-Bone, the Vindictive (AC1-076)
Updated Text: Counter - Play: You may activate this effect when an opponent plays a Clashground. You may send this card to Oblivion. If you do, return the Clashground being played to its owner's hand. It does not enter play.
Errata Note: Defined timing and clarified that the Clashground is returned before entering play.
Incoming Support (AC1-021)
Updated Text: You may only play this card if your Contender is a black (Alpha Hunter). Target Contender or Clash card you control gets +2/+2 until end of turn, then you may draw one card.
Errata Note: Added color identity restriction to prevent splashability and ensure balance.
Energy Explosion (AC1-120)
Updated Text: You may only play this card if your Contender is a red (Alpha). Target Contender or Clash card you control gets +2/+2 until end of turn, then you may draw one card.
Errata Note: Added color identity restriction to limit usage to red Contenders only.
Machina, Savage Striker (ST2-006)
Updated Text: 25 Health Ability: Once per turn, during your Primary Phase, you may engage this card and send a non-token, non-Trap Accessory you control to Oblivion. If you do, deal two damage to target Contender or Clash card, then draw one card.
15 Health Ability: Whenever an Accessory you control is sent to Oblivion from play, target Clash card you control gets +1/+1 until end of turn.
Errata Note: Clarified that only non-token, non-Trap Accessories can be used; prevents recursion abuse.
War, Legion Commander (AC2-098)
Updated Text: 30 Health Ability: Clash cards you control get, "Trigger - Attack: If this is the second attack you have declared with a Clash card this turn, draw one card."
10 Health Ability: Clash tokens you control get +1/+0 and Breakthrough.
Errata Note: Streamlined draw trigger condition and clarified how token bonuses apply.
Whistler (AC3-049)
Updated Text: Attach: ⯁ Whenever the attached Clash card attacks, you may engage this card. If you do, choose target Clash card you don't control. Until your next turn, that Clash card must attack target attached Clash card if able. If the attached Clash card is an [Avenging Guy], it gets +2/+2.
Errata Note: Clarified forced attack interaction and synergy with the Avenging Guy tag.
Evil Expedition (AC3-051)
Updated Text: This card has no specific resource cost. (Printed version incorrectly showed a green requirement.)
Errata Note: Removed unintentional green cost that made the card harder to include in non-green decks.
Torque, Fury’s Embrace (AC3-124)
Updated Text: Gains +X/+0 where X is the total amount of non-Clash damage you’ve dealt this turn. During your Primary Phase, you may engage this card: if you do, deal damage equal to this card’s ATK to target Contender.
Errata Note: Clarified that damage is based on ATK and applies only during your Primary Phase.
Warcry, Faithful Protector (ST3-007)

Errata Note: Prevent and stat reduction effects now clearly tied to cost.

Updated Text: If you pay this card’s cost and its effect becomes invalid, the second part of the effect still resolves using last known information.
Errata Note: Explains resolution interaction if the target becomes invalid.
Replicate (AC2-120)
Updated Text: You may now choose a Standby card to resolve effects. You may use an effect of a card in play as if it were that Standby card.
Errata Note: Explicitly allows targeting Standby cards, resolving effect using copy logic.
Resurging Fire (AC4-031)

Errata Note: Clarified that a legal target is still required regardless of hand state.
