Alpha Clash Comic Book Series Launches: Where Lore, Cards, and Fun Competition Collide

For Alpha Clash, story isn’t an afterthought - it’s the starting point. 

We’re proud to announce the launch of the next Alpha Clash Comic Book Series, Cosmic Conquest. This eight-issue arc is an amazing story all on its own, but it also offers a bold leap forward in what it means to be an indie trading card game. We’ve embraced a top-down design philosophy - we start with the story first, building worlds, characters, and arcs that not only live on the page, but also directly shape how the trading card game plays.

This isn’t just inspiration - it’s integration. The comics lay the foundation. We write with key moments, powers, and personalities in mind, and those then make their way into the TCG. Our team takes those stories and builds cards around them - names, mechanics, and art all rooted in the lore. It’s a streamlined, narrative-first model that makes for tighter sets, more meaningful characters, and a more immersive experience for players.

That synergy is front and center with this launch - and we’re only getting started!

How to Get the Comic

We’ve built a global rollout to make sure players and collectors worldwide can join the story from day one. The first issue is slated for release in early September, with each subsequent issue launching every 1 to 2 months thereafter. 

🇺🇸 In the U.S., we’re teaming up with Covenant, our long-time friends and partner. For $20, fans will receive:

• A print copy of the Alpha Clash comic

• Four exclusive alternate-art promo cards from a future set - an early-access bonus for story-driven fans

Ready for another reveal? Here’s the first Alpha Clash card straight from the pages of Cosmic Conquest - available exclusively from Covenant:

🌏 In Asia, we’ve partnered with Toy Shogun, a key player in our rapidly growing community overseas. The same $20 package will be available, including:

We’ve seen explosive growth in the Asia market and we’re deeply committed to making sure our fans there have direct access to the story and the tools to bring it to their communities.

🇬🇧 In the United Kingdom, we’re linking up with Leaky Teacup to bring the same $20 bundle to fans across the UK and Europe. This marks our first major story-focused launch in this region as well, and we’re thrilled to work alongside a retailer as passionate about community and narrative as we are. The European Alpha Clash scene is growing - and this is just the beginning. This bundle includes:

We’re actively in discussion with key partners around the world to see about expanding this offer to more countries and regions as well.

A Comic - and a Community - Like No Other

But the story doesn’t just shape the cards - it’s starting to shape the players.

In the very first issue, you’ll notice a few familiar names in the community. We surprised several top players from recent Clashground tournaments by including cameos of them in the comic, immortalizing their presence in the world of Alpha Clash. It was a reward we kept under wraps until after the events, and a reflection of how deeply we care about community - not just as fans, but as part of the universe itself. 

This is just the beginning. Future comic issues will continue to blur the lines between game and narrative, with possible tournament moments, store locations, or standout personalities finding their way into canon. We’re building a living world where gameplay, storytelling, and competition feed one another.
