North American Pro Tour Recap

Written By Ridge Kiley

The 2026 Alpha Clash Organized Play circuit continued with Pro Tour: North America.

With World Championship qualification, cash prizes, bounty rewards, exclusive promos, XP, and championship prestige on the line, there was something to play for in every round.

Pro Tour

Players showed up with a diverse pool of deck builds, featuring 12 different Contenders. After constructed rounds, participants continued on play in a draft format, before determining the Top Cut to battle for a tournament title. All 8 players finishing in the top 8 piloted a different contender as well.

Final Standings

Ryan Acosta earned his first major tournament victory by piloting Haven, Biding Time. It was the first tournament victory for Haven.

First-time Alpha Clash tournament competitors Jacob Blackburn, Smilewithteeth, and Joe Sumner all made Top 8, while other familiar faces rounded out the top performers.

Bounties

The Bounty system continued to do exactly what we hoped it would - pushing players to explore more of the card and Contender pool in competition.

Bounty Winners:

  • David Snell, The Absence, Voice of the Void

  • Christina Evans, Clarity, Ageless Defender

  • Ryan Roper, Machina, Savage Striker

  • Roy McCarthy, Kheprius, the Scarab Master

  • Adam Sutherland, Fangyin, Defender of Drak’aroth

Dominion (Team 3v3)

Dominion, a new game mode for Alpha Clash, was chaotic, calculated, and genuinely fun. Those participating in the inaugural event have made it clear - they want more! We’ll be looking for more events to bring this exciting format to the table.

Dominion Team Champions:

  • Ryan Roper

  • Christina Evans

  • Ryan Acosta

PvE Gauntlet

Players entered the Gauntlet to take on the Guardian Angel, with every round bringing a new challenge. It also drew fresh faces to the community, as players who found Alpha Clash for the first time at the Game Grid Open Convention joined in on the community competition.

The field took down the Guardian Angel of the event hall, adjusting to the increasing difficulty and round modifiers thrown at them throughout the event.

Thank You

A huge thank you to the players, organizers, and community members who made Pro Tour: North America happen.

Congratulations once more to Ryan Acosta, your 2026 Pro Tour: North America Champion.

We’ll see you soon on the Clashground at events in the Philippines, United Kingdom, and USA yet in 2026.
