Power in the Alpha Clash universe rarely stands alone. Across every era, factions rise, alliances shift, and larger forces shape the direction of history.

Progenitors

The Progenitors are the oldest known beings in the universe. Thought to be gods, they possess incredible power and influence. Each Progenitor has their own wants, needs, and desires, though collectively their purposes are unknown.

The Gambit is a universal contest held by the Progenitors every few thousand years. Alphas are awakened, worlds are ruined, histories are reset, and scars multiply.

Dragons

The Dragons are an elegant, fierce, and mystical race filled with incredible powers. Hailing from Drak’aroth, the Dragons follow either Gwenael, the Progenitor of Grace or Avarice, the Progenitor of Greed. This rivalry between gods has divided the planet, creating a war amongst the dragons for eons.

Alphas

Alphas obtain their powers through a process known as ‘The Awakening’. At the behest of the Progenitors, they are competing in the Gambit. This process mysteriously ties their personalities, ambitions, and desires and awakens extraordinary powers from within. Possessing ‘The Pull’, they have an innate desire to find and eliminate one another; making them the top-tier being.

The winners become ageless and some have the opportunity to become Harbingers.

Alpha Hunters

The Alpha Hunters are a government special force unit dedicated to eliminating threats to the USA and Earth as a whole. They use advanced weaponry to fight back against the super-powered foes.

The Discarded

The Discarded are a mash-up of all different beings from around the universe. Being failed subjects of the Progenitors, they were cast aside. Legends such as trolls, sasquatches, and essentially anything that goes bump in the night are the Discarded.

With Lord Krung at their helm, they finally have purpose: eliminate the Progenitors and anything in their way.

Harbingers

The Harbingers are servants of the Progenitors. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse aren’t ancient text, they are real: Conquest, War, Pestilence, and Death. These titles are handed down to the usurper of the role.

Each Harbinger is extremely dangerous, with very few beings in existence that can match their power.

Rogues

Rogue characters aren’t affiliated with any other faction. They have a mix of powers or technological capabilities. They seek peace and are typically caught in the crossfire, fighting back against the events of a Gambit.

The Whisper Ledger Syndicate

Comprised of the universe’s most powerful and influential entities, the Whisper Ledger Syndicate acts as brokers for the Progenitors. They thrive on chaos, knowledge, and information.

The Absence

The Absence is nothingness manifested, an unnatural force that exists beyond the laws of creation itself. Tearing through the fabric of the universe, it spreads endlessly across worlds with a single purpose: to consume everything in existence and reduce all reality to nothing
